CrossFit is a “general preparedness program” designed for universal scalability. One of the program’s goals is to increase your work capacity over a broad spectrum of tasks and time durations. Our programming is designed to improve all of the following general physical skills: endurance, strength, stamina, flexibility, speed, power, coordination, balance, agility and accuracy.

Here at CROSSFIT PASSAIC VALLEY our specialty is not specializing. You will run, jump, throw, climb, pull, lift, carry, and row. The workouts vary in duration. Some take 20-25 minutes or more, some 15 minutes, some less than 8 minutes and some are interval workouts with different periods of work and rest. The WOD (workout of the day) is different every single day. Sessions will take about one hour and will include a group warm up and/or some joint mobility work, a detailed explanation of the WOD, a demonstration of the range of motion that is required and a skill refresher for the movements involved. The WODs are made up of functional movements that constantly vary by type, load, duration and combination. After you show sound mechanics and consistent proficiency it will be time for you to add the most potent part of the program, INTENSITY.

Your first workout is always free. Get started today!
